Why the majority of people don't succeed in their goals?

The subconscious mind's resistance to supporting our goal is the most significant of the other factors.

Now, you might wonder why this is happening. Probably because our mind is simply not convinced that we can take a huge leap toward success, and to avoid failure, it prevents us from acting. But success and victory are literally adored by the subconscious.

To achieve our big goal, our vision, a plan of action with baby steps that yield regular doses of tiny successes must be put in place. These fill and soothe our mind, giving it hope that we can accomplish our lofty goal. If not, our mind will create barriers and a sense of futility to further its own goals while obstructing ours.

When we comprehend how the subconscious mind functions, it becomes evident that in order to reach a significant goal, we must enjoy the minor benefits and victories that result from the small yet crucial steps of our plan. A big goal is rarely accomplished in one giant leap; rather, it is the celebration of small accomplishments that inspire us to strive for greater things and lead us to the big win.

You see, consistency and continuity are much more valuable than intensity.

In the end, which is preferable — five hours of rigorous exercise in a single day, or a ten-minute workout every day? — the answer lays in the latter, because it creates a positive habit that yields the desired outcome as opposed to the first approach that causes you to give up.

Let's say you decided to earn more money in the upcoming year. According to pertinent research, less than 20% of revenue growth is what your subconscious believes is feasible to reach your desired goal.

The subconscious will put up a number of roadblocks to prevent you from pursuing your financial goals as you aim for bigger dreams. You should simply implement the small wins approach in such circumstances.

When your big goal is financial independence, for instance, and your monthly salary is €1000, your subconscious mind will suggest that your next goal should be €1200. Once you've accomplished that, you can proceed to the next goal, which is €1.440, and so on until you've arrived at your destination.
