Ιnner Peace Through Mindfulness

I want to share with you what I've learned and how MINDFULNESS served as my compass during an absolutely amazing inner journey.

22 years ago, I started working in the field of personal development.

To get where I am today, I had to learn and use many different techniques, both scientific and energetic. These techniques helped me break free from ingrained behaviors, habitual thought patterns, and traumatic experiences.

I trained my mind to be in control of me, and I constantly pay attention to my thoughts and emotions.

I didn't realize it at the time, but by being critical of myself for any negative thoughts I had rather than simply observing them, I was engaging in mind control.

After learning about mindfulness, I experienced a great sense of relief because I now understand that there are more compassionate approaches to building a relationship with oneself than the judgmental mind control.

Yes, I am a conscious observer and I do not battle with or criticize my thoughts. Rather, I allow them to arise naturally.

When you step back from the false perception you have of yourself, you can simply observe your thoughts and smile at them. You are way bigger and more substantial than your mind and thoughts are. Eventually, you reach a point where you are able to acknowledge them without having any further affinity for them.

While recognizing the divine aspect of yourself, you accept your human nature and flaws. The sense of peace and tranquility this detachment and acceptance provides you with is amazing; it doesn't trigger any internal commotion or criticism against your own thoughts.

You are not your mind, you are not your fear, you are just an observer! It is in your nature to have negative thoughts and also experience negative emotions, but allow yourself to be in this space of thoughts and feelings without guilt or remorse, because ultimately, they do not define you!
